Easy Dollar Tree Easter DIYs | Wreath-Planter-Floral Arrangement

Have you seen the new Easter stuff at Dollar Tree?
So many DIY opportunities!

My son and I hauled a ton of purple supplies. It's his favorite color. We made a wreath, a planter, and a flower arrangement.
EVERYTHING that we used cam from Dollar Tree. Everything was just $1
Can I get a high five?
What will you make?

We grabbed a floral foam ring and some purple raffia.
We wrapped the raffia around the foam ring, gluing along the way.
It took awhile to cover all of the ring, but it looks beautiful.

I actually used 2 or 3 stands at a time, to get this part of the project done faster.

I glued the end down on the back of the wreath.....

.......Then, I trimmed any extra "fly aways"

Next, I added flowers. I cut the flowers so that the stems were long enough to go through the foam,, but short enough so that they wouldn't come out of the other side.

Just poke the flowers in.
SO EASY.
I love Easy.

Next, I added an egg. I love these glitter eggs.
You can totally use the eggs that come on skewers,so make this project super fast.

Here's an up close look.
I glued the egg in the middle of the flower.

Here it is on my door.
I love the purples and I LOVE the texture!

My son saw this purple vase, and just had to have it.
He chose a bouquet of purple flowers and a pack of Easter eggs to go with it.
The eggs are on skewers, making it super easy to arrange them.

We used cotton balls as a vase filler.
So inexpensive, and we only used a portion of the bag.

We added a raffia bow as a final touch.
That was my son's idea, and I think it was a good one.

How awesome are these planters?
They're such a great size.

I painted a small detail on mine, to look like an Easter egg.
Then, I filled it with potting soil.
Ps, That bag of soil came from Dollar Tree!

After that, I added one of the yard hooks and packed down the dirt.
Don't forget to pack the dirt, because it keeps the hook sturdy.

I can't wait for warmer weather, to plant real flowers in this.
I'm going to try the seeds from Dollar Tree. Have you tried them?
For now, I chose fake flowers from the floral section, and a few of the Easter eggs on skewers.
I have this on my porch, and the flowers are holding up great so far.

For the flower pot on the hook, I grabbed a 3 pack of plastic pots.
Yep, a 3 PACK for $1.
YESSSSSS.
Love me some Dollar Tree.
I put a flower in the smaller flower pot also.

Here it is!
This would also look so good with a dollar tree sign hanging from it.
I would of loved one of these when we lived in an apartment and all we had was a balcony, and no land. I think that I'g going to spray paint this copper, after Easter.

Here's the YouTube video of us making our projects-

$3 DIY Nightstand Transformation - Farmhouse Style On a Dime

I decided to try and save our old, beat up night stand.
Im in love with the farmhouse style, and I'm also in love with saving money, so I tried to do what I could with as little as possible.
I just love the way that this turned out. It wasn't that hard to do. Promise.
